Key point — HONOR named Xiao Zhan Global Ambassador for its flagship phones, welcoming the Magic9 Series launching September 28, highlighting dual 200MP cameras co-developed with ARRI.
Why it matters — Elevating Xiao Zhan from the mid-range series to flagship ambassador reflects a brand strategy of using star power to carry an existing fanbase toward higher-priced products — an approach several Chinese brands use to compete with Apple and Samsung.
Worth watching — Pricing and release date outside China (including Thailand) haven't been announced; it remains to be seen how quickly the Magic9 Pro Max reaches the Thai market after launch.
