Key point — Canon launched the EOS R8 Mark II, a 24.2MP full-frame mirrorless camera weighing 546 grams, adding 5-axis IBIS, a joystick, 40fps continuous shooting, and 4K 60p video.
Why it matters — The accessible full-frame market competes on size and features. Canon adds both built-in stabilization and creative modes that help less-experienced users, without making the body bigger, while supporting livestreaming and VR video — work that appeals to newer creators.
